Custom Sawmilling, Kiln Drying & Local Sourcing

Equipped with an in-house five-headed moulding machine, we can reproduce almost any custom moulding pattern imaginable. Having this advanced machining capability in our shop allows us to run precise, high-quality wood profiles efficiently, making us competent in handling both standard custom trim and highly complex historical restoration projects.

We mill everything from custom tongue-and-groove flooring and Victorian bevel shiplap siding to 9-inch-wide crown mouldings. Our capabilities also extend to highly specialized boatbuilding stock, including 1/4-inch-thick canoe planking and bird's mouth mast stock.

In-House Knife Grinding & Custom Tooling

To ensure absolute precision and flexibility, we operate an in-house knife grinding machine. This allows us to grind custom moulding knives to match any existing historical pattern or create completely unique, custom tooling tailored to the specific design goals of architects, designers, and homeowners.

Over the years, we have built a library of well over 3,000 unique sets of custom-made cutters. This extensive collection of tooling enables us to recreate virtually any classic trim, moulding, or architectural detail without having to order specialized cutters from external suppliers.
